There is a considerable gap in conservation funding that can only be filled if new approaches are taken. Through its subproject “Strategic Design for Converting Tax Credits into Conservation Funding”, Funbio identified that the tax credits accumulated by companies along their production chain are an important potential source of conservation funding. Tapping this potential will require investment in viability studies and model design.
